Mac Gets Pokerstars

Mac Gets Pokerstars

Good news for hardcore Mac only users. Pokerstars has just released a beta version of their client software to be used on Macs.

A play-money only version formatted for the Mac has been going through testing for some time now. At last, this past Friday, Pokerstars finally released a real money version of their client to the public. Audiences from various poker forums were almost unanimously relieved from the great news now that they can avoid having to use third-party “Windows emulators” just to be able to play Pokerstars.

In its current beta format, the new Mac client is very much like its Windows counterpart. Only difference is that the Mac version does not yet have the Layout Manager and Preferred Seat options.
