Beverley Pace Takes First Place in Party Poker Women’s World Open

Beverley Pace, wife of comedian/poker-player Norman Pace, won the grand prize in the first ever Party Poker Women’s World Open that took place in London. Her prize was $50,000.

The buy-in for this event was set at $3,000. Notable professionals that participated were Liz Lieu, Jennifer Tilly, Shannon Elizabeth, Katharine Hartree, Maria Demetriou, Xuyen "Bad Girl" Pham, former Party Poker World Open winner Pippa Flanders, European Ladies champion Jackie Meecham and Lucy Rokach.

The payout at the final table were as follows:
  1. 1) Beverley Pace, UK $50,000
  2. 2) Jen Mason, UK $22,000
  3. 3) Maria Demetriou, UK $14,000
  4. 4) Bronwyn Campbell, Canada $10,000
  5. 5) Jackie Vaswani, UK $7,000
